An Update from Pressure Point Roofing - August 7, 2025

Pressure Point Roofing

At Pressure Point Roofing, we’re honored to give back to those who’ve served our country. That’s why we were proud to donate our labor to the Owens Corning Roof Deployment Project to replace the roof of Glen Erickson, a 73-year-old Navy veteran and retired florist in Medford, Oregon. Facing the possibility of losing his homeowners’ insurance — or even having to sell his home — due to the condition of his aging roof, Erickson turned to Rogue Valley Habitat for Humanity, which helped connect him to the national program.

Owens Corning generously donated the roofing materials, while our team at Pressure Point Roofing donated the labor, including volunteers from both our roofing crew and office staff. The new roof, which replaced three deteriorating layers dating back decades, brought Erickson immense relief and a renewed sense of gratitude for his military service.

From the article: “Erickson said he was at a loss for words following completion of his new roof. ‘I’ve been out of the service for 50 years, but to still be recognized for what I did back then, it was just a good feeling.’”

Founded in 2016, the Roof Deployment Project has helped more than 675 veterans nationwide. For us, supporting Glen Erickson was an easy decision — a small way to thank someone who was willing to give so much. We’re proud to be part of this ongoing effort to protect the homes of America’s heroes.
