Key Commercial Roofing Services to Look For

Your commercial roof is more than just a covering—it’s the first line of defense protecting your inventory, equipment, employees, and day-to-day operations. That’s why choosing Grants Pass roofing contractors who offer a complete range of services is so important. You need a partner who can handle everything from routine care to major overhauls, not just someone who shows up when things go wrong.

The best contractors bring expertise in Commercial Roofing systems, reliable Roof Repair when emergencies strike, and proactive Roof Maintenance programs that catch small problems before they become expensive nightmares. Don’t overlook gutter systems, either—properly functioning gutters are essential for directing water away from your building and preventing premature roof deterioration.

At Pressure Point Roofing, we’ve built our reputation on being there for every stage of your roof’s life. Whether you need emergency leak repair at 2 AM or a scheduled inspection on a sunny Tuesday, we’re ready to keep your business protected and running smoothly.

Roof Replacement and Installation

When your commercial roof reaches the end of its useful life, a professional installation is critical. A commercial roof replacement is a major investment, and it needs to be done right the first time. As established Grants Pass roofing contractors who specialize in commercial projects, we bring the expertise needed to ensure a successful installation.

We typically start with a full tear-off, stripping away all the old roofing layers down to the deck. This might sound extreme, but it’s the only way to truly see what’s happening underneath. Hidden water damage, rotted decking, or structural issues can sabotage even the best new roof if they’re not addressed first. Think of it like building a house—you need a solid foundation before anything else matters.

For new construction projects, we work hand-in-hand with builders and architects from the planning stages. This collaboration ensures your roofing system integrates seamlessly with the building’s design and meets all your operational requirements. We conduct thorough structural assessments to verify that your roof deck can safely support the new materials, plus any additional equipment like HVAC units or future solar panel installations.

Our goal is straightforward: install a roof that protects your business for decades, not just years.

Repair and Maintenance Programs

A critical truth of roofing is that most major roof failures start as minor problems that nobody noticed. A small leak that goes undetected for months can cause extensive damage to insulation, decking, and even the interior of your building. That’s exactly why we’re passionate about repair and maintenance programs.

Regular scheduled inspections are the cornerstone of smart roof management. Our technicians climb up there so you don’t have to, carefully examining every inch of your roof for early warning signs—loose fasteners, membrane deterioration, ponding water, or damaged flashing. We catch these issues while they’re still easy and affordable to fix.

Leak detection is another critical service we excel at. Water has a sneaky way of entering in one spot and showing up somewhere completely different inside your building. We use proven techniques to trace leaks back to their source and seal them properly, not just slap a patch over the obvious problem.

Don’t underestimate the importance of simple debris removal, either. Leaves, branches, and wind-blown materials accumulate faster than you’d think, especially around drains and in roof valleys. This debris traps moisture against your roofing membrane and clogs drainage systems, creating the perfect conditions for leaks and premature deterioration.

A well-designed maintenance program does more than prevent emergencies—it extends your roof’s lifespan by years, sometimes even decades. That means you get more value from your initial investment and avoid the disruption of a premature replacement. Think of it as regular oil changes for your car, except the stakes are much higher.

Common Commercial Roofing Materials and Systems

Your roof isn’t just the thing keeping rain out—it’s a critical business asset that affects everything from energy bills to insurance premiums. When you’re working with Grants Pass roofing contractors, understanding your material options helps you make decisions that align with both your budget and your building’s needs. We’ve installed just about every type of commercial roofing system out there, and we’re here to help you steer the options without the jargon.

durable metal roofing panel - Grants Pass roofing contractors

The right roofing material depends on several factors specific to your property. Your building’s structure, the local climate here in Southern Oregon, your energy efficiency goals, and how long you plan to own the building all play a role. We work with everything from highly durable Metal Roofing systems to single-ply membranes like TPO and EPDM, the time-tested Modified Bitumen, and traditional asphalt shingles from manufacturers like Gaf for sloped commercial roofs.

Our job is to listen to your needs and help you select a system that protects your investment while supporting your long-term business goals. There’s no one-size-fits-all answer, and that’s okay—we’ll walk you through the pros and cons of each option in plain English.

Metal Roofing

Metal roofing has become increasingly popular with commercial property owners throughout Southern Oregon, and once you understand the benefits, you’ll see why. As experienced Grants Pass roofing contractors, we have the specialized skills and equipment required for proper metal roof installation.

The longevity of metal roofing is hard to beat. With proper maintenance, a quality metal roof can last anywhere from 40 to 70 years or more. Compare that to other materials that might need replacement in 15 to 25 years, and the long-term value becomes clear. You’re not just buying a roof; you’re making a decades-long investment in your property.

Metal roofs also deliver impressive energy efficiency. Their reflective surfaces bounce back solar heat rather than absorbing it, which can significantly reduce your cooling costs during those warm Southern Oregon summers. And there’s the fire resistance factor—metal roofing provides an extra layer of protection that gives many property owners peace of mind, especially in areas prone to wildfires.

We’ve installed metal roofing on everything from small commercial buildings to large industrial facilities, and we understand the nuances of different metal types and installation methods. Flat and Low-Slope Roofing Systems

Many commercial buildings in Grants Pass feature flat or low-slope roofs, which present unique challenges that require specialized materials and installation techniques. If your building has this type of roof, it’s essential to work with Grants Pass roofing contractors who truly understand these systems. We know that getting drainage and waterproofing right is absolutely critical.

TPO membranes (Thermoplastic Polyolefin) have become one of the most popular choices for commercial flat roofs, and for good reason. TPO offers excellent energy efficiency thanks to its white reflective surface, stands up well to UV radiation, and resists chemical exposure. It’s also relatively lightweight and can be installed using different methods depending on your building’s needs.

EPDM rubber roofing is another single-ply option that’s been around for decades and has proven its worth. This black rubber membrane is incredibly flexible, which means it handles temperature changes without cracking. It’s also highly weather-resistant and can deliver a long service life when properly installed and maintained.

Modified Bitumen takes a different approach. This asphalt-based material is often installed in multiple layers, creating a robust waterproof barrier that’s particularly resistant to punctures and tears. It’s an excellent choice for roofs that might see foot traffic or require additional durability.

Here’s something that can’t be overstated: proper drainage solutions are absolutely essential for flat and low-slope roofs. Even though these roofs appear flat, they’re actually designed with a slight slope to direct water toward drains, scuppers, or gutters. Water that sits on your roof (called ponding) can dramatically shorten its lifespan and lead to leaks and structural damage.

Our team pays meticulous attention to drainage during both installation and maintenance. We ensure that water moves efficiently off your roof, preventing ponding and protecting your investment. After all, the best roofing material in the world won’t perform well if water can’t get off the roof properly.

Licensed and Insured for Your Protection

Working with licensed and insured Grants Pass roofing contractors is essential for protecting your business. As professionals, we are fully licensed by the Oregon Contractors Board, which means we have met the state’s standards to perform commercial roofing work legally.

Our comprehensive liability protection is your shield against property damage claims. This coverage ensures that if anything goes wrong during the project, your business is not on the hook for expensive repairs or replacements.

Our worker’s compensation insurance is equally critical. Commercial roofing is inherently risky work, and this coverage protects both our workers and your business from liability in the event of an injury on your property.

Many reputable contractors are also bonded, which provides another layer of financial security. A bond ensures that if a contractor fails to complete the work as agreed, you have financial recourse. We are happy to provide current copies of our license, liability insurance, and worker’s compensation certificates. This transparency is a cornerstone of our professional commitment.

What keeps you up at night about your roof? What are your business priorities? These conversations matter to us.

After our assessment, we prepare a detailed project proposal that lays everything out clearly. You’ll see the complete scope of work, our recommended materials and why we’re suggesting them, and a realistic timeline. We provide straightforward information you can actually use, ensuring complete transparency.

Throughout the entire project, clear communication is our priority. We keep you informed at every stage, from when materials are ordered to daily progress updates during installation. Our project managers are always accessible and proactive about addressing any questions or concerns.

We understand that your business can’t just shut down for roof work, which is why phased scheduling is built into our approach. We carefully plan the work to minimize disruption to your daily operations. Need us to work during off-hours or tackle the project in sections? We’ll make it happen.

When the work is complete, we conduct a final inspection and walkthrough with you. We’ll walk the entire roof together, reviewing every detail to ensure the completed work meets both our high standards and your complete satisfaction. Your sign-off matters to us—it means we’ve done our job right.

Client Reviews

I just wanna give a shout out to one of your guys who jumped out of vehicle to help me push my van out from 62 onto coker Butte this morning awesome job and thank you so much..

Linda Marie Eppler

No hassles, no stress roofing contractor.

We've worked with a number of contractors over the years doing home improvement projects and I can say that, without question, working with Pressure Point was about as easy as it gets.

Everything about the project, from sales all the way to final inspection, went like clockwork and without a hitch.  They delivered more than they promised, on time and within budget.   We could not have been happier with their personnel, products and services.  Highly recommended!

Steven Belsky

I've changed my review from a 1 star to a 4 stars. Matt Stone got right on a pretty poor job done installing a skylight. He had his guys remove the skylight, move it, repair the roof and inside ceiling to its original state, paint it, repair some external trim that was damaged, and all within a few days after talking to him about the multiple problems. It was really an eyesore from the inside. I'd give a 5 star if this had been done well the first time. The skylight just didn't fit the space I first wanted it and was told it would. More communication about the potential problems might have allowed this to be done right the first time. But, Pressure Point Roofing gets 5 starts for making amends and correcting a pretty ugly problem, very fast! Thank you.

I needed someone to come out to take a look at a leaky roof. I contacted Pressure Point Roofing, LLC. and they came out the same day. They gave me a quote to fix the problem and I agreed to their terms. It was about 4PM and I knew they closed at 5PM but they stayed and fixed the leak at no additional cost. I was very happy and impressed. Would recommend them to anyone. Thank you Pressure Point Roofing for earning our families trust. Will definitely be doing business with you again.

Dan LePari

Wouldn't be good if I didn't think the best of my own company right?!

Matt Stone

Excellent experience, prompt and professional estimate, showed up on schedule (actually a day early) and did a thorough and complete job. All personnel were professional, polite and great at their jobs. Would recommend to anyone.

Karen Teliantyler-Tyler

I am so happy I chose Pressure Point to replace my 40-year-old roof.  The crew was professional, efficient, and answered all my questions, addressed the few concerns I raised, and made me feel comfortable, trusting them with such a big project.  I couldn't be happier with their work and the look of my new roof.
